Description
A Louis XV style tulipwood, amaranth, mahogany, holly and floral marquetry table d'accouchée, 20th century
the detachable upper part with a pair of rounded compartments on either sides which are each inlaid with a cornucopia of flowers within a cartouche, the centre with a book-rest inlaid with a basket of flowers and a parakeet, and with a short frieze drawer, the lower part with a black and gilt-japanned dished top decorated with figures in a landscape, above three frieze drawers and raised on cabriole legs ending in sabots, inscribed in blue chalk on the underside '2820' and E6 746'

la partie supérieure détachable avec une paire de compartiments arrondis chacun avec une marqueterie représentant une corne d'abondance de fleurs au sein d’une cartouche, encadrant de chaque côté un repose-livres décoré en marqueterie d'un panier de fleurs et d'une perruche, avec un tiroir, la partie inférieure avec un plateau noir et doré à décor de personnages dans un paysage, au-dessus de trois tiroirs en frise, sur quatre pieds galbés se terminant par des sabots, inscrit à la craie bleue sur le dessous '2820' et ‘E6’
