Description
A Louis XV gilt-bronze mounted tulipwood and holly table à écrire, by Jean-François Leleu, circa 1760
with a grey marble top, and resting on four cabriole legs, each ending in ormolu foliate C-scroll sabots on castors, joined by a quatrefoil and cross-banded undertier, the body containing three drawers with ormolu lock plates, the sides and back filled with metal trellis, indistinctly stamped
Height 29 in; width 18 in; depth 12½ in.

avec un plateau en marbre gris, à trois tiroirs, sur quatre pieds galbés se terminant par des sabots, rejoints par une tablette d’entretoise, les côtés et le dos remplis de treillis en métal, estampille difficile à déchiffrer
