A Swedish parcel-gilt tankard, maker's mark HN or NH in an ovaled oblong, Norrköping
circa 1720
the cylindrical body with bold gilt floral cluster ball feet below asymmetrical cartouches, otherwise plain except for the gilt rim, the scroll handle chased with grape-vine, the domed cover inset with a medallion of Charles XII, dated 1718, all within engraved flowers and foliage
