A gilt-bronze Japanese style mantel timepiece
French, circa 1890
2¾-inch twelve-piece enamel cartouche dial, the movement with cylinder escapement in a rectangular case cast with Oriental buildings and flower sprays, surmounted by a dragon dog above a pierced frieze and raised on an integral plinth with geometric pierced side panels and elephant feet
