u. vts, heavily torn, nicked and wine-stained label; slightly corroded and scuffed capsule; slightly sunken cork; sign of old seepage

60% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage. In 2018, I think this has got better over the last decade, showing a purer Lafite nose with its signature breed and cedary notes. The texture has Lafite finesse and the flavour has filled out, filling the mouth with that cèpes and smoke allure. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
