Overall age cracks, some worming, some losses, and restorations. Both hands of St. Anne are later (with some tips of fingers lacking) . Some of Child’s fingers and Virgin’s fingers are reattached. Some of the age cracks are reinforced with linen on the reverse. There is some worming with restoration along inner edges of the drapery of the figures and on Child’s feet and cushion. Some losses, chipping and restoration around edges of drapery overall. Loss and restoration on lower left side of drapery at bottom edge os sculpture. Paint refreshed in areas and some original polychrome remains. Charming and beautifully carved.
