domed base with Celtic strapwork on four monster heads, dragon stem supporting the horn, matching terminal, strapwork collar with 1893 presentation inscription and hanging pendants, cover with Viking ship finial

marked on base J.G. Hentze and other initials K and NS, on neck with JGH


height 34 3/8 in.; width 24 in.

Inscription reads Till W Hedemann-Gade fran tacksamma idrottsvanner I Lund , d. 14 October 1893 and roughly translates To W. Hedemann-Gade from grateful sports followers in Lund d 14 October 1893.
