A gold and polychrome enamel pendant case or ‘Tablet’, probably English, circa 1600
Cushion shaped, cloisonné enamelled at the body and hinged cover in green, white, blue, yellow and black with geometric motifs scrolls and leaves, hinged, with hanging mount and pendant for a pearl, set with a diamond

Similar ornament, particularly the angular white sections, can be found in the published works of Corvinianus Saur (1575-1635) goldsmith to Christian IV of Denmark and the Parisian Jacques Hurtu (1584-1635).
