signed L. Hunter (lower right)

pen and ink on paper

unframed: 35 by 51cm.; 13¾ by 20in.

framed: 51 by 66cm.; 20 by 26in.

Executed circa 1924.

The sheet has been laid down on card. The sheet edges are unevenly torn and there are a number of losses and tears to the edges, these are mainly hidden beneath the mount. There is a horizontal crease to the centre of the sheet where it appears to have been folded. Other creases elsewhere. Some light time staining to the sheet and mount staining to the edges. Some other areas of staining. Some specks of surface dirt and a few foxing marks, one of which appears to have been treated in the lower right hand quadrant. Some glue residue to the edges. Held under glass in a simple frame and cream mount.
