This typescript records a series of lectures given at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton by two of the greatest theoretical physicists of their generation assisted by Abraham Taub and Wallace Givens, both of whom went on to have eminent careers in science. This typescript presumably predates the printed edition of 1937.
