Of shaped circular form with double hinged cover enamelled with a geometric pattern in red, white, blue and green, the sides applied with rectangular plaques, enamelled with gryphons, with openwork centrepiece decorated with a gryphon on both sides on a red ground, raised on four bracket feet, the hinged coversand undersidestruck with maker's mark, 91 standard

height 16.8cm., 6 1/2 in.

In overall good condition. Some flaking and losses to blue and white enamel on the main panel in between the hinged covers, on both sides. Some losses to red, blue, white and green enamel friezes on the lower section.
