A set of six porcelain plates and bowls from the Gothic Service for the Winter Palace, Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, various dates


the cavetto plain white, the border decorated with stylised foliate and flowerhead ornaments in red, green, magenta and gilt on a blue ground, the two plates inscribed with the green crowned cypher for Alexander, the four soup bowls inscribed with the green crowned cypher for Nicholas II and dated 1913
