the cavetto painted with an Amurskoe Kazakh soldier on horseback beside a lake in the foreground and two others in the background, within a gilt border impressed and ciselé with the imperial arms and laurel leaves, inscribed on the reverse in Cyrillic after a design by V.V. Mazurovsky, executed by Iv. Nazarov, 1909, green imperial cypher of Nicholas II, dated 1909
