the head of the pin formed as a green-gold lyre applied with rose-gold balalaikas centring a faceted ruby and surmounted by a rose-cut diamond imperial crown, in original fitted imperial cabinet case, struck to the pin with workmaster's initials, 56 standard

Presented from the Imperial Cabinet of Emperor Nicholas II to Professor Alexander Franz Türner in 1903, and thence by descent
