Panel with two figures:

The work is executed on plywood which has been attached to a more recent stretcher. The plywood is delaminating slightly along the left edge and there is a minor loss to the unpainted top layer towards the centre of the left edge. There are cracks to the plywood as well as to the paint layer in the area of Harlequin's wrist and chest. There are minor cracks to the plywood along the bottom edge, as well as towards the centre of the top edge. There is a small paint loss to Colombina's hat. There are remnants of gold leaf to the unpainted edges in the lower left. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.

Panel with three figures:

Executed on plywood which has been attached to a more recent stretcher. There are tiny losses to the support in the corners. There are cracks to the plywood as well as to the paint layer to the reflection of Colombine's eye and neck. There are cracks to the top layer of the plywood elsewhere, most notably to the top and bottom edges. The surface is covered in a light layer of dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.
