Composition pour sculpture

signed and inscribed in Cyrillic and Latin and numbered N1b l.r.; further bearing various labels on the backing board

ink, wash and pencil on paper laid on card

Sheet: 47 by 34.5cm, 18 ½ by 13 ½ in.

Framed: 66 by 52.5cm, 26 by 20 ¾ in.

The sheet has been laid down on card, is undulating slightly along the edges and shows some air bubbles in places. The left edge of the sheet is deckled and other edges are slightly uneven. There are various tears to the sheet: to the top left corner of the black rectangle, to the top right quadrant, and in places along the edges. There are a few scattered small holes, the largest of which, near the centre of the right edge, appears to have been restored. There is a diagonal crease running across the top right edge and there is further minor creasing elsewhere. The sheet has discoloured and there is staining and foxing throughout. Framed and held behind plexiglass.
