Executed on a plywood panel which was extended by the artist with wooden strips approximately 2cm wide along the top and bottom edges. The joints are visible on the recto. There are frame abrasions along the edges. There is a fine pattern of craquelure throughout. There is a light layer of surface dirt with a few flecks of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals a tiny area of retouching to the fascinator of the lady in the middle. Framed.
