rectangular form, modelled as a box of A de Villar Y Villar cigars, with nielloed lettering, lock, the underside numbered with Victorian Registration mark

25cm., 9 4/5 in. wide

Probably William, 12th Duke of Hamilton (1845–1895);
His daughter, Lady Mary Louise (1884-1957), who married in 1906 James Graham (1878-1954), Marquess of Graham who in 1925 succeeded his father as 6th Duke of Montrose;
Thence by descent.
