Overall in very good condition. The steel surfaces throughout present with scattered scratches, abrasions, small indentations and areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The metal with some oxidation throughout consistent with age. The oak armrests present with a variegated brown palette and with expected signs of age, namely minor surface irregularities and light surface abrasions concentrated to the edges. The proper right armrest displays slight looseness but is stable in place, not impacting functionality. The proper right armrest with a few small traces of white house paint, not visually distracting. The chair’s leather upholstery presents with signs of age and wear throughout, including crackling, creasing, scattered discolorations, small abrasions and light scratches. The center and front edge of the seat present with more pronounced creasing and fine cracks to the leather, the largest measuring approximately 6 ½ in. and stable. An iconic model by Prouvé with highly desirable and rare silver metal color to the metal frames.
