Overall in very good condition. Presenting with great scale and beautiful wood selection when viewed firsthand, the bed is fitted with two night lights affixed to the headboard. The burled wood surfaces present with light surface scratches and very minor abrasions concentrated to the edges and corners of the piece. The gilt wood elements with some scratches and with some faint discolorations to the gilding, not visually distracting. The night lights are easily adjustable, with light switches on either side of the bed frame. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and recommends having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
