a group of 6 unique large-format Polaroid Polacolor prints, 4 signed and dated in ink in the margin, each framed, 1985-87 (6)

images: each approximately 29 by 22 in. (73.7 by 55.9 cm.)

frames: each 35 ½ by 29 ½ in. (90.2 by 74.9 cm.)

Please note the color and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. These large-format Polacolor prints are in generally very good condition. Each print is somewhat faded, as evidenced by a slightly darker strip at the periphery where the photograph was covered by an overmat. As is typical of Polaroid prints in this format, the lower margin edge is unevenly trimmed, and there are pinholes in the lower corners. There are fingerprints, scuffs, and occasional handling creases, some of which appear to break the emulsion but do not affect the overall fine quality of these prints. Individual condition notes are as follows: Slide Rule and Rose: This print is signed and dated in ink in the margin. '87.1812.06' is written pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse. Braille and Crossword: There is an arrow in ink in each of the lower margin corners indicating print orientation. '84.1817.01' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse. Leaves and Crystal Cubes: This print is signed and dated in ink in the margin. There is a strip of adhesive along the lower margin edge. '84.1817.04' is written in ink in an unidentified hand on the reverse. Flowers and Ink Painting on Paper: There is an 'x' in ink in the lower right margin corner and 'D [circled]' is written in ink in the upper left margin corner, both in an unidentified hand. There is a strip of adhesive along the lower margin edge. '84.1817.05' is written in ink in an unidentified hand on the reverse. Carnations, Stone, Shell: Upon close examination, a one-inch linear crease that does not break the emulsion is visible in the upper left quadrant of the image. There is a strip of adhesive along the lower margin edge. '84.1817.05' is written in ink in an unidentified hand on the reverse. Crystal Rods and Bread: This print is trimmed to the image.'1984.1' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse.
