Please note the color and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. This photograph, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. There are a few tiny deposits of original retouching. The following are visible in the black margins: some silvering when examined in raking light; minor wear and chipping to the edges and corners; and clamp impressions from processing in the corners. On the reverse, the edges are faintly age-darkened. The photographer's stamp is annotated Neg.# '283-A' and Code 'I.A.2' in an unidentified hand in pencil. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
