This is the most iconic cinematic poster that Boris Grinsson designed. The image of Marilyn Monroe's dress billowing up from a gust from the subway grate has become synonymous with the film. The scene was never used in the film, and the image was taken from a studio production photograph. The poster was so successful that it has been used on many of the re-release campaigns. This poster is from the original release of the film in 1955.

This large French poster does not surface very often.

The Seven Year Itch was co-written and directed by Billy Wilder and stars Marilyn Monroe and Tom Ewell. Ewell had also starred in the Broadway production, before taking on the same role in the film, where he won a Golden Globe.
