This 1925 Soviet Union silent film was directed by Sergei Eisenstein. The cast includes Aleksandr Antonov, Vladimir Barsky, and Grigoriy Aleksandrov. The film is a dramatization of historical events that took place in 1905, when a mutiny occurred between the crew of the Russian battleship Potemkin, against the harsh and oppressive command of the battleship's officers. This landmark film will always be remembered for its iconic scene of the pram rolling down the Odessa Steps.
