This rare Australian poster has only surfaced a few times.

This comedy was written and directed by Preston Sturges. The cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Henry Fonda and Charles Coburn. Stanwyck plays Jean Harrington/Lady Eve - a beautiful con-artist, who along with her father (Charles Coburn) and his partner, try to swindle money from the naive and wealthy Charles Pike (Henry Fonda), who they meet on board a ship. However, all does not go completely to plan. Jean and Charles fall in love, and then split up on bad terms because of a misunderstanding. In order to get back at Charles, Jean disguises herself as an English Lady - Lady Eve.
