The King's Speech (2010) Poster, British , Signed by Tom Hopper (director), Helena Bonham-Carter and Colin Firth
Unframed: 30 x 40 in. (76 x 102 cm)
Mr. Sohal met Tom Hopper, Helena Bonham-Carter and Colin Firth at the Picturehouse, Clapham, London, when they were there for a Q & A event.
It is rare for anyone to have an original poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
This historical drama was directed by Tom Hooper. The cast includes Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter. It tells the story of the relationship between George VI (Colin Firth) and his speech and language therapist, Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Logue helps King George VI prepare for his first wartime broadcast and to overcome his stammer.
