Very spicy on the nose with orange zests. Creamy-textured with a touch of mint. The tannin is there but it is so unctuous as the glycerol provides the rich coating. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

An outstanding collection of wines from Domaine de La Romanée-Conti featuring highly exceptional coveted cases in a variety of bottle formats, including assortments and a large offering of extremely rare Methuselahs - all in their original cases - spanning 1998 through 2011. All the wines were acquired on release directly from the Domaine and cellared in professional temperature-controlled storage until removed for this auction. All the cases were sealed with the original bands from the Domaine until inspection by Sotheby’s specialists
