25.3 hl/ha. Average age of vines: 55 years. Total production: 923 cases. In 2014, a warm, spicy nose, with a touch of vanilla pod and smoke. A nice, crisp note on the palate. Pretty and with finesse. Gentle and full of charm.

An outstanding collection of wines from Domaine de La Romanée-Conti featuring highly exceptional coveted cases in a variety of bottle formats, including assortments and a large offering of extremely rare Methuselahs - all in their original cases - spanning 1998 through 2011. All the wines were acquired on release directly from the Domaine and cellared in professional temperature-controlled storage until removed for this auction. All the cases were sealed with the original bands from the Domaine until inspection by Sotheby’s specialists
