The work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there is light wear around the edges. Drying craquelures are noted at the dark blue impastos throughout and a light cracks near the mid-right edge of the canvas. There is a sheer pencil mark most likely original to the artist's working method 19 cm. from the top edge of the canvas. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no signs of restoration.
