The complete set, comprising 80 etchings with aquatint, drypoint and engraving, 1810-20, very good impressions from the first edition Ib, published by the Academia de las Bellas Artes de San Fernando, Madrid, 1863, on wove paper, numerous sheets with the Palmette and J.G.O. watermarks, accompanied by the title page of the second edition, lacking the first edition title page and biographical essay, contained loose in a leather folio with gilt lettering

each sheet: approx. 250 by 335mm 9 3/4 by 13in

In good condition, each sheet with very pale discoloration along the extreme sheet edges, remnants of previous binding tape along the extreme left sheet edge, and two small, pale stains associated with previous hinging at upper corners verso, some sheets with occasional pale finger marks in the margins and verso, a couple of sheets with other minor defects, contained loose in a leather folio. (A diagonal printer's crease on plate 16 is inherent to production).
