Pendant Cross with the Instruments of the Passion

partially enamelled gold and garnets

inscribed: INRI; and with a copper suspension hoop marked: ET

cross: 50mm., 2in.

54mm., 2⅛in. overall

This beautiful pendant cross is near identical to another in the British Museum (inv. no. 1872,0604.897). The form is very close and the symbols near identical.
