Watercolour and bodycolour on ivory, silver and enamel frame
78 by 66 mm.
The sitter was the illegitimate child of Ivan Rimsky-Korsakov and Countess Stroganova. In 1800 she was painted by Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (see The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York - acc. no. 1963.019).
