Pen and brown ink and wash over black chalk, squared in black chalk

237 by 416 mm; 9 ⅜ by 16 ⅜ in

Laid down on a paper backing and subsequently hinge mounted to a modern mount. There is a small repair to the right half of the upper edge and some old pin prick holes to the upper right corner. There is an old repaired tear to the lower half of the right edge and a diagonal crease to the upper left corner. There are some scattered gray and brown stains to the sheet. The drawing itself remains in good condition with the image strong. Sold in a modern giltwood frame.
