Laid down on a linen backing. There is a diagonal old repaired tear from the upper right corner to the centre of the left edge. There are other old tears and losses to the upper right quarter and a repaired tear to the centre of the left edge. There is surface dirt and scattered staining throughout and some show through of the inscription from the verso to the recto. The chalk remains in fair condition. Sold in a giltwood frame.
