8vo (157 x 96mm.), text in italics, with blank leaf i8, woodcut Aldine device at end of Orthographia, later crushed navy morocco by David, Aldine device stamped in gilt on covers, edges marbled and gilt, k1 with neat repaired tear, a few leaves slightly shorter (of which the title-page and s1 supplied from another copy), joints beginning to weaken, extremities very slightly rubbed
