12mo (137 x 79mm.), engraved frontispiece, woodcut headpieces and initials, contemporary vellum, lacking half-title, some worming at start of volume

RARE FIRST EDITION of this collection of games to enjoy with friends, including piquet, billiards, fox and chickens, and various others. The Catalogue collectif de France lists just one copy, in the Bibliothèque nationale. A second edition was printed in 1659.
