with a yoke-back top rail supported on stiles enclosing a back splat carved in openwork and inset in the centre with an inscribed 'dreamstone' marble panel, the curved arms resting on supports and posts, the latter extending through the seat frame and continuing as the front legs, framing a spandrelled apron echoed on the sides, the legs further joined by stepped stretchers and a footrest, the latter supported on a plain apron
