Executed in Les Martigues circa 1906-1907.

The canvas is lined. The edges are taped. The colors are bright and fresh, and the surface is richly textured. There are two very fine networks of craquelure in the thick green impasto just above the two large boats at lower left and lower center. Minor pigment shrinkage in the center right green pigment. Under UV light: no inpainting is apparent. This work is in overall very good condition. Framed dimensions: 33 1/8 by 37 1/4 in. (84.1 by 94.6 cm)
