Kochel—Gabriele Münter

oil on canvasboard

12⅞ by 9¼ in.

32.6 by 23.5 cm.

Executed in 1902.

This work is in very good condition. The board is sound. The impasto is well preserved and richly textured. The colors are bright and fresh. The surface is slightly dirty. Under UV light: no inpainting apparent, but a layer of varnish obscures a further reading. Framed: 18 1/2 by 14 7/8 in. (46.9 by 38 cm.)
