Executed in 1959.

Original canvas, with a loose additional canvas underlayer stretched around the stretcher bar underneath the canvas. Generally the work is in very good overall condition. There is minor rubbing to the extreme edges. Adhesive tape has been applied to the extreme edges. Ultraviolet light reveals some retouching to the edges which has been sensitively executed. Held in a simple black painted frame.
