the large hexagonal vase of ovoid form tapering at the foot and with everted neck, silvered-copper mounts, decorated in coloured cloisonné enamels and worked in various thicknesses of copper wire, with two large hawks perched amongst rockwork and a stream, a tall autumnal maple tree overhanging, the reverse with two finches in flight, signed Ota
