With 49 reliefs and needlework armorial devices, with a label on the reverse:

each framed group 17 5/8 by 25 1/4 in.; 44.7 by 64.1cm

A group of twenty-five reliefs with the identical scenes and in polychrome wax, with inscriptions below each scene as well as a date of manufacture, is in the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh (27.10.326). Johann Wilhelm Baur, Joan Guiliam Bouwer, or Bauer  was a German engraver, etcher and miniature painter and was famous for a series of illustrations of Ovid's Metamorphoses
