The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.

Both of these works are in excellent condition. The canvases have been recently lined. The surfaces remain well textured. The works are clean and varnished. The gilded spandrels are in very good state, with only slight weakness to the gold along the top edge of the work with the single angel. A few isolated spots of retouching have been added to both pictures, none of which address any structural damage or abrasion. The works should be hung in their current state.
