The necklace decorated with marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, supporting a detachable pendant set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 111.73 carats within a brilliant-cut diamond frame, length approximately 470mm, pendant may also be worn as a brooch, necklace with maker's mark for Jacques Timey.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 116035 and Gübelin report no. 21030025, each stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating, the SSEF report stating 'royal blue' colour, together with two appendix letters.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 116035 and Gübelin report no. 21030025, each stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 111.73 carats, measuring 27.61 x 25.76 x 16.99mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating, SSEF stating 'royal blue' colour, together with two appendix letters. Clasp stamped with maker's mark for Jacques Timey. Stamped PT950 for platinum. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with good transparency and small typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, abrasions and scratches principally on pavilion; for more information on the sapphire, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 38.00 - 42.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, a few I clarity (included), as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches consistent with age and wear. Overall, in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 163 grams.
