The necklace featuring five oval-shaped emerald cameos carved as Greco-Roman portraits, on a link chain accented by baguette diamonds and cabochon rubies, the pair of earclips similarly designed, total gross weight approximately 107 dwts, necklace length 14 inches, each signed Bulgari with maker's marks, necklace numbered C1150, earclips numbered C1151; circa 1983. With two signed pouches.
In good condition, the mountings with light surface wear and patination commensurate with wear and age. Mountings stamped 750 for 18 karat gold. The emeralds in the necklace weighing 10.23, 7.63, 7.41, 7.30 and 7.10 carats, and the emeralds in the earclips weighing 6.28 and 5.50 carats, are semi-transparent to translucent, medium light very slightly bluish green, moderately to heavily included, as is typical of carved gemstones. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.55 carats, are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. Earclip length approximately 7/8 inch. Necklace fitted with a safety closure.
