The firm of Koch was established in 1879 in Frankurt and soon became one of Germany's leading jewellers. Koch's reputation spread among the aristocracy and the Kaiser, as well and his business flourished opening a new shop in Baden-Baden. Later the company was aquired by the Brüning family till the closing date in November 1987.
