Le dessin se présente dans un bon état général. Il est sur papier épais collé en plein sur son montage. Le montage est collé sur le haut de la feuille de support et cache la partie supérieure du dessin. Le montage a laissé des traces sur les 4 bords de la feuille. Le dessin est légèrement encrassé et légèrement insolé. De petites piqûres sont disséminées sur l'œuvre. Vendu dans un montage et un cadre en bois doré. Veuillez noter que Sotheby's ne garantit pas l'état des cadres. //The drawing is in good condition. It is on thick paper glued in full on its mount. The mount is glued on the top of the support sheet and hides the upper part of the drawing. The mounting has left traces on the 4 edges of the sheet. The drawing is slightly soiled and slightly insolated. There is some minor pitting scattered throughout the work. Sold in a gilded wood mount and frame. This mustard-pot is the one made by Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot for the Polish count Branicki. A similar drawing appears in the collections of the musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (inv. no. 2009.174.83). It is illustrated in the echibition catalogue Odiot. Un atelier d'orfèvrerie sous le premier Empire et le Restauration by Audrey Gay-Mazuel in 2017 (p. 108, cat. no. 81).

Ce moutardier correpond à celui fait par Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot pour le comte polonais Branicki. Un dessin similaire apparait dans les collections du musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (inv. n° 2009.174.83). Il est illustré dans le catalogue de l'exposition Odiot. Un atelier d'orfèvrerie sous le premier Empire et le Restauration par Audrey Gay-Mazuel en 2017 (p. 108, cat. n° 81).
