In 2014, a wonderful, fresh, brambly nose, with huge, vivacious projection. Tremendous youthful fruit on the palate, all blackberries and cedarwood. Archetypal First Growth Pauillac, with a cassis signature on the finish. Pair it with the 2001, a revelation in vintage contrast.
