Dear Karl,

It was really nice talking to you on the phone. The last time, we felt like we were in Paris, and we wish we were really there. We pass the time away by staying very busy. So that there is no time to be bored. Now we really understand how it is to have scheduled appointments all day and how strenuous it is especially not being able to speak Japanese. Thank you so much for sending us all the reference material. It’s really perfect, and we will get a lot of use from it. It’s really perfect because, the work that we have to do here at the moment is about one year behind wat you and we have been doing in Paris. Whats old for us is too new for them. They are not even on to art deco yet - except for the drawing we did about a year ago? The idols are Yves St Laurent and Pierre Cardin. Other fashion-hippy and London clothes bellbottom styles- 8 hip hugger pants. Other than that they are very adventurous people. One of the nicest things here is that business people are very polite and friendly. You will never believe that we haven’t gone dancing once nor never go out with anybody other than business people. We can’t wait to see you on the silver screen - if you tell us that you look good on screen - you really must look fabulous - remember ann always said that you should be a movie star. But don’t let it go to your head. The next thing youll […]. You’ll be moving to “Hollywood”. We really feel bad that we are not in Paris with all of you. We feel left out. But we will make up for it when we get there. “How tu yo” have fun without us. [….] I can’t wait to see your new clothes and all the things you bought, also your new collections. We are very excited to draw your clothes for Anna [Piaggi?] - if she still wants us to. But she has not written to us. We hope there is time. We will do the whole story of Pinup girls. The pages of your dresses were very nice – in jardin des Modes – nice feeling and you could see the clothes clearly. Better than “Elle”. We really miss you and are the only reason why we are going to Paris. And the only reason Paris is exciting. You “sexy goddess” Give love and kisses to everybody and that we miss them all – very much – tell […] to write to us. Tell Patty that we had dinner with Michel Chow in Japan. We will call you before you get this letter – so this will be old news.

Love and kisses

Antonio + Juan
