Executed in La Ciotat in 1948.
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, the sheet is attached to the mount at each corner and is floating in the mount. The left edge of the sheet is deckled and the other edges are uneven. There are two artist's pinholes to each of the lower corners and four to each of the upper corners. There small tear to the lower part of the left edge (approx. 1.5cm) and a few nicks to the right edge. The sheet is slightly undulating in places. This work is in overall good condition.
